Affecting Other - All TFDi Design Software/Services/Servers
We will be rebooting the master server (Spark) to apply udpates. This will result in temporary outages for product activations, the smartCARS authorization server, smartCARS Premium, smartCARS Chat, and web hosting services. The process should be no more than 10 minutes before regular service continues.
Affecting Server - Xenon
Our main server, Spark, is currently having issues and long loading times. We are currently investigating the issue and working on solving it. There may be some delays or outages throughout the day while we troubleshoot the issue.
Affecting System - smartCARS Chat
As of now, there is a seemingly temporary issue affecting smartCARS Chat for some users. We've contacted our infrastructure provider.
Affecting System - Client Area/Blog Emails
During this time period, the the infrastructure our client area and blog use to send email will be undergoing maintenance. This may delay or prevent some emails from getting sent from our client area/blog to clients. This could potentially be ticket reply notifications or similar. This will not affect our ability to receive mail, nor will it affect the email capabilities of clients hosting on our server.

An unknown issue is causing a 500 Error on our development tracker while logged in.

This appears to have been resolved with a recent software update.

Visiting "www.tfdidesign.com" results in a 400 Bad Request error. We are investigating this with our infrastructure providers.
This was resolved through help from one of our security providers, Sucuri.
Affecting System - Bacula 4 (cPanel Automatic Backup)
If you used the client area to authenticate into cPanel, Bacula shows this error: 'Error: "Cpanel authenticating failed: 401"'. Logging in to cPanel directly (not through the client area) can sidestep this issue. We are investigating this.

We will be migrating Blizzard to a new node at our infrastructure provider at this time to mitigate some internal limitations the current node has imposed on us. During this time, Blizzard will be unavailable.

An issue with the server caused MySQL to be down for varying amounts of time during this time period.

The server was rebooted, causing a brief period of service interruption.
Affecting System - All Web-Powered Systems
Our server infrastructure provider will be upgrading their network components and bandwitdh routing. During this time, connections to our web services may be slow or unreliable. This is not cause for alarm and will be monitored by staff.

The Blizzard server became unavailable this morning. We are investigating the issue with our service provider.

The Blizzard server was down due to a problem with our infrastructure provider. Our technical support team was in touch with the provider throughout the duration of the issue and it was resolved as quickly as possible.
Affecting Server - smartCARS Web Server
We will be restarting the smartCARS chat server to apply a minor change. No flights will be lost and service interruption will be extremely minor.
Affecting Server - Xenon
The Blizzard server had an internal error and became unavailable for approximately 10 minutes until staff were able to restart it and investigate the issue. Further research is being conducted and steps will be taken to prevent a repeat of the event.

A software update we were forced to complete has caused issues with our MySQL server. We have fixed the issue temporarily and contacted cPanel for a permanent solution.
Affecting Server - smartCARS Web Server
There was an issue that caused our MySQL server to crash. This prevented websites which use SQL-based services from functioning. The issue was resolved by staff members and steps have been taken to fix the cause of the problem. As per our AUP, we have issued a full month of credit to affected clients.
Affecting Server - Xenon
Due to a server upgrade, all websites were reporting a "Server 500" error for a brief period of time. This was not caused by any sort of security related problem, but simply a MySQL version mismatch.
Affecting Server - smartCARS Web Server
We will be applying a chat server update to improve security and reliability. This update will cause the chat server to be unavailable for approximately a minute and no data will be lost.
Affecting Other - smartCARS Chat Server
We will be appying a software update to the 1.41 and later smartCARS chat server to align it with the 1.42 release. This update will only take a few minutes and will not cause pilots to lose any flight data.
Affecting Server - Xenon
We will be restarting the Blizzard web server for standard upgrades. This process will be preceeded by an on-demand backup as a standard precaution. The upgrades will be complete within a few minutes, but please allow up to a 15 minute window. Thank you for the cooperation.

We apologize for the minor inconvenience, but we had to restart both the TFDi Design master web server and Blizzard server to apply necessary software updates. These updates mitigate the Heartbleed Bug on our servers. This bug was recently discovered and affects almost all websites. We have patched it, protecting our users. We appreciate your understanding!

Affecting System - smartCARS Chat Server
We will be restarting the smartCARS chat server to apply a software update at 2:00PM EST on Sunday, January 19, 2014. This restart will NOT affect flights in progress, it will only cause a brief disconnect from the smartCARS chat server. Once the server has finished restarting, users may simply reconnect by clicking "Retry" on the chat page in the smartCARS client.
