One of the tools smartCARS allows your pilots to do is create charter flights so they can fly custom routes. In this article we will explain how this can be setup.

1. Login into your phpVMS Admin Panel and Click the Airline Operations Tab, Select "Add & Edit Airlines", and click "Add Airline"



2. Choose a unique ICAO code for your charter airline and name it whatever you like.


(It should not be enabled as you do not want pilots to sign up for your charter airline)

3. Go to the smartCARS Customization Panel and set the "Charter Flight Prefix" to your Charter Airline ICAO code.


To the right of the flight prefix, you can set the ticket price of Charter Flights.
