Simulator Crashing When Changing Views

The simulator crashes upon switching views when flying the TFDi Design 717.

  • Open a secondary view (by default, the left brace key)
  • Zoom it in fully on a simple part of the virtual cockpit
  • Scale the view down as much as possible.
  • Leave this secondary window open (but out of the way)

This crash has been investigated by numerous developers over the last year. We have never been able to identify a common factor between those affected or find any change in the product that improved it. We have attempted to remove part of all of our code, custom technology, etc. and we have been unable to trace the source of the crash. The above workaround isn't intended as a permanent answer, but as a way to use the product for affected users.
