Issues Connecting to the Navigation Database


An error message regarding the navigation database (such as "session not connected" or "no default driver specified") appears upon initial load of the aircraft. Subsequently, the navigation database is unavailable.


Option 1) 
Fully uninstall all instances of "Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010" via "Add or remove programs" then fully reinstall the aircraft.

Option 2)
Navigate to the "Performance" tab on the "Customize" page for the TFDi Design 717 in the Addon Manager. Enable "alternate database connection method" and retry.

Option 3)
If the previous two options did not work, contact support.


Some conflicting or broken software installations can cause conflicts with our navigation database connection.
